Atlanta Birth + Postpartum Doula Photographers

Meet the Atlanta Birth + Postpartum Doula Photographers of Atlanta Birth Collective

At Atlanta Birth Collective, our doulas are listed here in alphabetical order, because the heart of this work is never about hierarchy. It is about the collective. We believe birth support is stronger when it is built in community, with each doula bringing her own strengths, instincts, personality, and perspective to the families we serve. Each of our doulas is also a photographer, which adds another layer to the way we witness, anticipate, and document birth with sensitivity and care.

Together, we create something steadier and more supported than any one person could offer alone. Milène and I (Maegan) bring years of experience to the collective, and our doulas benefit from that knowledge, support, and collaboration as we care for families together. Because our doulas are located in different areas, we are also able to reach families across a wider part of metro Atlanta and serve them well. We back one another up whenever possible, and we are also grateful to have a few incredible doulas who serve as backup when needed, helping us offer families continuity, depth, and care.

Note: You may notice we do not go into much detail about our personal beliefs, preferences, or levels of “crunchiness,” and that is intentional. Families do not need to think exactly like we do in order to receive wholehearted support from us. We are careful about who we bring into this collective, and one of the qualities that matters most is the ability to set personal opinions aside and care for families with respect and advocacy, whether or not we would make the same choices ourselves. Our role is not to shape a family’s birth around our own values. Our role is to help families better understand their own values, make decisions from that place, and support their experience with maturity, professionalism, and care that stays centered on them.

This is the beauty of the collective. Each doula is valued for who she is individually, but she is also part of something larger: a team committed to showing up with skill, compassion, and reliability.

Our families benefit not only from the unique strengths of the doula they know best, but from the depth of experience, collaboration, and support behind her. At Atlanta Birth Collective, we truly believe we are stronger together, and it is our privilege to offer that kind of connected, intentional care to every family we serve.

They also benefit from a team that is spread across different areas, allowing us to reach more families while still offering thoughtful, connected care. At Atlanta Birth Collective, we truly believe we are stronger together, and it is our privilege to offer that kind of intentional support to every family we serve.
