Hi! My name is Hannah, and I'm a certified birth doula serving families in the metro Atlanta area (up to a 1.5  hour radius from Calhoun). I am a loving mother of 3 babies born at home, a wife, and a devoted follower of Christ. 

My interest in birth work began in 2018 while I was working as a Licensed Massage Therapist. I had a special interest in pre-natal therapy and had plans to eventually pursue a career as a midwife. In 2023, I was called into serving women as a doula (doula = female servant in Greek) and completed my birth doula certification as well as attending my first birth. Although I had already had 2 children of my own at that point, it was deeply humbling to hold space for someone else’s birth experience — and each family that invites me into their journey grows my respect and awe for women, families, and God’s design even more.

I believe that birth is a natural, physiological process, and that if a woman feels supported during labor, then it can be an empowering experience for her. There is a lack of support in the traditional health care system that is truly saddening to witness. Births attended by doulas often end up with less interventions and better outcomes for the mother and baby than without the support of one.

I not only bring a knowledgeable, evidence-based approach to birth, but bring a prayerful presence and encourage my clients to surrender and trust their pregnancy and birth journey to the Creator of all. I would be honored to be a part of such a precious and pivotal moment in your life.
